Manifesto
Slowly
Zen Artefatos begins with a simple gesture: making wooden objects by hand, with time, objects worth keeping. There is no production line. Each piece is cut, shaped and finished by one person, and the pace of the work is the pace of the wood.
The wood comes first
Every board has its own grain, colour and temperament. The design starts from them, not against them. That is why no piece repeats, and why we tell where each wood comes from: it is as much a part of the piece as its shape.
Use as ritual
A serving board, a table piece, something to live with: these are everyday things. Using them with attention (preparing, serving, caring, putting away) turns an ordinary gesture into a small ritual. The piece asks for care and gives back presence.
Visible authorship
Every piece comes in a numbered run and carries an engraved QR code that opens its own page. There you find its details, its woods and the record of who made it. It is not decoration: it is how the authorship stays visible after the piece leaves the workshop.
A story that goes on
A piece made to last changes hands: it is bought, given, inherited. Whoever owns it can tell, if they wish, what they have lived with it, and that story travels with it from owner to owner. What was made with care should not be lost.
